My Manifesto

No one can be discriminated by anyone, except by himself or herself. When a human being acts in a way that is in conflict with its social culture, he or she is still free to continue acting that way unless fear and the lack of confidence arise from the bottom of his or her heart because of others’ view. In this era of mind-openness, both genders should remind themselves of their rights and strive after their own personal goals: money, career, family, or whatever it is; I have seen successful businesswomen, brilliant ballerino, and breastfeeding father. However, there is one qualification before everything—not to stop yourself.

I believe in feminism—that is, equality between all human beings—at the very beginning. Well before men starts to dominate, women have the responsibility to take necessary action to protect their own right. When women complain about their sacrificing wisdom for the short-lived beauty for men’s pleasure, why don’t they start acquiring knowledge before they grow old? When women complain about the hard work they do for their family and children, why don’t they choose more committing husbands before they get married? When women complain about their career being controlled and ruined by men, why don’t they take better control on their career and ignore the barriers built by men? Feminism is destroyed only when females step back in the first place.
