Black Panther

Out of all the manifestos we have read this week, I would ascribe to the Black Panther Platform. In the 1972 platform, a transition was made from focusing efforts on improving the lives of solely the black community, to improving the lives of all those who suffered from oppression. I believe that creating a movement that would improve the lives of many rather than just a specific group, is a much better mechanism for addressing the equality issue for not just men, but for women as well. That is why I would ascribe to the Black Panther manifesto rather than the others we have read earlier this week.
