Black Panther Movement

Out of the manifestos we had to read, the one that I would ascribe to is the Black Panther Movement. There was a need to stop the harassment and bad treatment of “colored” people in 1966. The movement has helped give rights to the minorities, which at the time had few if none at all. The movement fought for the rights for a more equal ground setting where everyone could live together and prosper.  Some of the rights they fought for were for; self defense, equal justice system, education, full employment, decent housing.
