Why some people still opposing homosexual while homo has been declared to be a genetic factor?

Why should we seek for the legalization of  homosexual? It is not to split money in a divorce; it is no to confine another affair from happening; It is, just in case some day, when I lies on the operation table, he can sign the consent as my companion. If I’m going to die, he could see me one last time.”
----Philadelphia1993

Different from ten years ago as described in the movie Philadelphia, nowadays, younger people are willing to accept homosexual. What has not altered is the law. In most of places, homosexual marriage or homosexual rights are still being omitted or even criminalized. Why some people still opposing homosexual while homo has been declared to be a genetic factor?
First are those under the religious faith.
Second are those who deeply affected by the traditional ideology that assume particular importance on the reproduction. As homosexual do not have the ability to reproduce, they were thought to be miserable and have no value.
Third are those who cannot accept difference such race, color, class, gender, religion. Now came to sexuality preference.
Last are those who have been hurt by homosexual--- those heterosexual who married a homosexual. Because their husbands or wife could never love them truly, they were always in torture.
