True Nature of Gender

There is no doubt humans are born to be a certain gender—male, female, both, or neither, which is a true biological fact that cannot be twisted or changed. However, the social problem happening now with gender is that the culture forces people to give gender a meaning. As discussed in class, men were to change the world and women were to change diapers. Other than people, this problem even extends to objects. White is for female and black is for male (shampoos bottles); thin is for female and thick is for male (cigarettes). The nature of gender is just the pure differentiation in certain organs. Other than that male and female are almost the same in terms of ability, including intelligent and physical abilities. In other words, gender is just an information showing on personal identity card and it does not determine the person’s appearance, family role, social status, or career. Similar to a piece of blank paper, people are determined biologically, but for what type of ideology they want to insert into others’ mind, that can be determined by themselves freely.
