How amazing Freud's theory is!

I can't agree more with the idea of Oedipus complex! In fact, it interprets many divorces that occurred around me. The most common trouble for those couples is that the wife is not able to deal with her husband's mother. When the wife argues with the husband about matters related to his mother, the man often stands on his mother's side, even no matter the mother is wrong. The husband then will explain his decision by filial respect to parent. However, is it the true reason? According to Oedipus complex, this phenomenon can be translated into the natural desire towards mother. It is obviously more logical than simply explained by son's love to mother. Thus, the marriage is not only just the affair between a man and a women, but also relating to their parents. Freud contributed a convincing theory to family structure as it still works today.
