In this ideology dominated world, being men or women does
not really mean anything other than just a choice of self expression. In our
everyday live, all we perceive or witness are just the surfaces of the object,
whose reality can be different from what we think in the mind. Compared to
ideological aspect, biology is just a basis of our life where can build and add
our personal favors on top of it to a degree that nobody can realize its
original biologic facts. For instance, transgender people in Thailand can be so
pretty that they even exceed the prettiness of women. No matter what a person’s
gender is, a person should always have to right to choose to play the role they
prefer within the society. Similar to theology, what we believe is not what we
see; vice versa. Therefore, the definition of gender should always be based on
the person’s preference, which is ideology, as we are in the society of equal
human right which includes the right of self expression.
