Race Card

The six words that I choose for the race card are, "Blind to those who aren't affected." Meaning that the problems of discrimination and persecution based on race is overlooked by those who are not affected by it. Someone who lives a privileged life is not going to notice or care about the African-American, or Mexican-American that has been racially profiled by the police. There are plenty of people who were appalled when they heard about the tragic incident that happened to Treyvon Martin, but because it does not directly affect them they will soon forget all about it and go on to their regular lives.
